Welcome to my Masterclass
The Character Design Masterclass is a 12-week intensive training program with personal 1:1 mentoring for character concept artists and illustrators. The program is designed to build your art fundamentals, increase your knowledge of anatomy, and solidify your design workflow to create an industry-standard portfolio. The winter session begins on Tuesday, January 14th, and ends on Friday, April 4th.

A comprehensive approach to character design and illustration
Module 1: Week 1-4
Mastering Fundamentals
In this module, you will develop a deeper understanding of structure, gesture drawing, shading theory and techniques, and material properties.
Module 2: Week 5-8
Anatomy and Portraiture
After establishing a solid foundation, we will take a closer look at skeletal anatomy, muscular anatomy, portraiture, and painting the human figure.
Module 3: Week 9-12
Design Theory and Practice
Finally, we will create a project brief and discuss design ingredients, storytelling, embedding meaning, and how to present your final character design.

Every week I have 30mins scheduled to personally discuss your latest work, portfolio updates, career objectives, and more.
